Wind Waker amiibos just unlocks Medli?

I bought both Toon Link and Zelda amiibos and I've scanned both and only Medli shows up, but I want W. Link! Is there any chance he might appear when I scan one of the two amiibos?

The SSB Link and SSB Princess Zelda Amiibo unlock W. Link. Unfortunately, both WW Link and WW Zelda unlock Medli.

Brah/Brahette you bought the wrong amiibos.

Wind waker ones unlock Medli
Sheik or OOT Link unlock Epona
Ganondorf or 8 bit link unlock Ganon
Link or Zelda from SSB unlock W. Link.

I only have Zelda and OOT Link of the 2 because the figures were only $12 and @. Link and Epona are the only 2 I wanted. Really Epona is the coolest one.

Also the Wolf Link Amiibo from Twilight Princess for the Wii U!

Well that's sad, I thought they were like the SSB amiibos...
I'm happy because the WW amiibos are awesome and very well done, but I wish I could have W. Link in my town...
