I've re-started my town three times and the second one I time traveled a lot and it sucked the fun out of everything and I wanted the pride of saying ' I did that without cheating' it's also why when I restarted two months ago I haven't bought anything or had any help from the Bell Tree. I've also never had all the badges so I'm going all out on this town and with the update it's made it 1000 times better! So no I'm not going to
Nope. I started on the first day it came out in the UK. I did used to have a second town but I never had enough time to play both so I stopped playing that but I will never get rid of Laputa.
I'm keeping my main town, since I've put years of hard work into it. I'm getting kind of annoyed with the layout in my second town though, so I might restart it just to experiment with the update.
I'm definitely not going to restart any of my towns. I just started my fourth and final town to hold the dream villagers I couldn't fit elsewhere and words would not suffice to explain how much I don't want to reset for maps again. Plus, I don't have any of the Animal Crossing amiibo or amiibo cards and it would be too much of a hassle to track down the dream villagers I already have. I'll have to see if I can track down Sprocket though because I have Ribbot, I like the idea of robot villagers, and I think they'd make good neighbors.
I don't think I'll reset, but I'm replacing Jitters in Drowsy with Inkwell, the new Splatoon villager, and I'm considering whether or not to mix it up by switching any other villagers.
I'm not sure. I haven't actually played in forever, but I did put a ton of time and effort into plot resetting and getting villagers and all. I haven't even been on this forum in ages because I just grew bored. I'm going to wait and see what the changes are like before I decide for sure.
I plan on having Apollo, Mac, Rudy, Mashal, Stitches, Hazel/Diva (which I obtain first,) Nan (possibly), Wendy (already in town,) Molly (already in town,) and Jambette! I already ordered an Apollo card and thanking a higher being that I don't have to scour threads for my least popular favorites (I looked for Jambette for over two months last time I reset!)
My campground is right next to the plaza and perfectly centered there! Prior to my reset it was next to the town hall and I felt like it was kinda out of place.
EDIT: Jesus Marshal is $35 on ebay (and that's the lowest price!)

I'm not restarting my towns. Noooooo way, too much work put in to throw them out. I did buy a few packs of cards for the update along with the NFC reader, and I think I'll buy a few from the new series, once those are out. I'll only use them to get the items or if I need a new villager after someone moves out. lol
