Will you "choose" your villagers according to the theme of your city ?

Love your theme idea, v unique. c: Are you gonna have Lucky? The mummy pup?

Personally, yes! but also a little no. I'm going for a Mexicana theme so tropical birds, Monkies, Big cats, Dogs. But if i get that little dorky grey cat he's mine.

Yes, sure ! I made a mistake, I forgot the English name of Ramses is actually Lucky ! I better know his French name haha !

I understand all your points of view ! Of course Animal Crossing is discovering new friends as well, and I'll let a chance to all of them. Maybe could I get a good surprise ? I think it's not a bad thing to have dreamies or to plan in advance your future life. Everything can still change ! But it's always nice to dream.

I have no theme for my island, though if villagers give their picture again...I want to try to collect every single one.

Probably not? Then again, my 'theme' generally fits any villager... pretty much anyone can live in a natural landscape / rustic town.

Yes !
I’m going for a spooky or gloomy look.
So I’m going with villagers that match that theme. I am going to have Lucky as well in my town!
I didn’t know his name was Ramses.

I plan on letting whoever in and weeding them out later after I find out who I like.

A dumb question, I assume you can but I want to ask, can you make a villager leave after accepting them if there is another villager you can have?

Also is there a cap on villagers?

These are some villagers I’ve been thinking about. I wasn’t sure of Flora but she was my no.1 in New Leaf It made me a little sad thinking she wouldn’t be there.

LOL. Your replies are great sometimes.

Name a time I want dates

I'm going for a natural/foresty island, so I'm avoiding super bright/unrealistic coloured animals! Most of my favourite villagers at the moment are coloured shades of brown, white or grey! I might mix it up in future, but for now I'm pretty happy with my selection :3

In one of my New Leaf towns though, I had a pastel/tropical theme, so a lot of my dreamies were brightly coloured characters like Julian, Chrissy, Flora, Willow, etc.

To answer the question: yes! I'm going for a (white, teal, blues, purples, lavender) Magical Kingdom theme. I hate pink, but I'd still like a princess and girly aspect in there, so light blues and purples it is! So I want those color villagers, white fur/feathered, or beige villagers. So like: Pashmina, new Blue Goat, Vivian, Francine, Chief, Chevre, etc.

My favorite colors are pink, purple, blue and white and I want my town having mostly those colors but there's a few villagers I really want that don't quite fit the colors. I also want to cycle through as many villagers as I can and get to know them. My village is going to start off as a home to anyone and once I feel like I've met enough animals, I'll start theme-ing my town and gathering 'dreamies'.

No. Not at first, anyway - anyone will be welcome. But I do want my boy Bob at some point, and eventually I'll probably go for dreamies. Since I won't have to worry about my landscaping being ruined by bad house placement, I'll be much more relaxed about letting villagers come and go.

i don't have a theme, so no! i will be looking out for my favourite villagers though (in my signature) if that counts!

I plan to have my town become an elegant garden park, but the villagers can be whoever I want.

I don't have any specific villagers in mind right now, other than I'm hoping to get some villagers I've never had before. I want to see if there's anybody that I'd really like but just don't know much about.

nope! i'll be mostly jut cycling through my favorite villagers. maybe one or two will be loosely based on themes if i choose to go through some.

yes !! i want some "farm" animals for my farm land of hay bales, scare crows, fences for my flowers, orchard.. just one neighborhood though! so some sheep, pigs, horses, goats.. etc!

I always liked to keep my villages rustic since the beginning of time. I?ll make friends with the villagers as they come and go, and the design of my island will come later.

I usually have a good mix of villagers I love who fit the theme, and ones who don?t! I do like having an aesthetic going but I wouldn?t sacrifice having one of my favourites in town just because one I like less is more in line with the aesthetic
