Kyle wasn't original when I got him, he has a fish and two bugs in his house, but I figured it would be fine - I could just buy them off him when he invites me round. Only problem is, he says he's 'too attached' D:

Can I do something to make him get rid of them? Or is he stuck forever with a gross interior?? Please help!

I've never seen a villager sell off the animals, so I doubt it. Most you can do is send them furniture that can be placed on top of things, that'll eventually get rid of them.

Oh, I'd never thought of doing that... Good idea - I'll send him random things until he gets rid of those stupid bugs :(

Sometimes a villager might ask you to replace a certain item. Once in a while my villagers ask me to replace bugs/fish. Just keep hoping. You can also send em stuff to replace the bugs and fish, but they might just misplace it. Also as far as I'm aware you can't buy furniture that's on something from villagers.

In one town my villager give back some of the bug/fish when I give them a replacement item.
It usually the low price fish or bugs. One villager asked to replace his tarantula and he didn't give it back.

I like when they have fish and bugs....but not as much as I love it when they have fossils!

I don't like it when they have fossils but I find it cute when they have fish and bugs, even though they seem like the worst fish owners because they'll have fish in really tiny tanks.

I plan to give one of my villagers a collection of the miniatures! (Most likely T. Rex, Pteradon, Spinosaurus, and Plesiosaurus.)

Ok, so it looks like I can either spam him with random stuff or wait for him to eventually ask for a replacement. That's fine by me... I just don't want it to be forever :(

This is why I never catch fish or bugs for my villagers. I'll just turn down their request, because I don't want to see a really nice house full of fish.

I think they can end up with fish without asking for it too. There's a couple of villagers whose request I turned down (since I didn't want to bother and wanted to keep friendship levels low) who have somehow gotten hold of fish and insects. I suspect they trade it amongst themselves and sometimes catch them on their own.

Huh, that's really weird. I can't say I've seen that happen before. Only times I've seen something like that happen is when a villager has a bug or a fish by default, like Cranston and his sea bass.

I think it might be from the villagers old owner. I've had my Jacques for a while and once I let him have a table. Then suddenly out of nowhere when he put the table into his house a bug appeared on it. I guess he had a bug in his stash but had no table to put it onto or something. Never even given him a bug though
