will pay 20k IGBs for signatures, can I visit someone?

I need to come to someone's town to get signatures for a villager, I will drop 20k IGBs at the train station for anyone who let's me come, I won't shop and/or take anything, I will collect the signatures then head back. I'm leaving work right now , playing on a break a villager asked for the signatures, will be able to link up in about 45 mins from right now as I post this, thanks in advance to anyone.
