It's weeding day in my town today and I'm kinda worried because for the past 4 days or so no one has pinged to moved, and there have been no rumours.
And I talk to my villagers 10000000000 times a day, lol!
I'm worried that because today is an even if someone wants to move out I might not know because of the event dialogs.
Will they tell me if they want to move?
If not what can I do?

Here's what I do: set the system clock ahead a month (it's easier than messing with days, since you just go up one number and back one when you're done), go in as a new character, and check the map when Porter hands it to you. The only risk here is if you don't pay attention to what you're doing and go in as mayor, or forget to change your clock back before going in as mayor. If a house is gone, that's your mover. I also use this with the two ahead, two back method, and it's an extra step, but I don't have to wander around and just hope I didn't miss the mover.

I have no idea what happens on Weeding Day. If you haven't gotten any pings, or if they are talking about weeding, I would assume they won't ping until it's over.

Thanks! So if I see someone moved how do I stop them from moving once I go back?

Once you see someone move, turn the system clock few days backward, and stop them =x then turn your clock back to todays back without even need to use new save file~ Backward=1 day only.

Sorry I'm consufed haha.
Once I'm 1 month forward if someone has moved I only have to go back a few days?
Not to today's date?

So basically, using Ras' method, when you go back to "real" time, that villager that you saw had moved in the future will almost always ping you as you walk around town. I do this method when no one has pinged me for a while and the mover always pings when i go back to real time. It works like a charm.

Ok so I went forward for over a month and none of my villagers moved out.
Does that mean no one will ping me today?

If you ever use that method and see someone has moved, ONLY go back to the day you were originally on! You do NOT want to TT when someone is thinking of moving, since you can't be 100% sure they have a full five days before they are in boxes. My method is not timetraveling at all, since you will NEVER go in as an established character with an altered date. It's ONLY to take a look around without affecting anything.

Basically, go into system settings and it says 04/15/14, change it to 05/15/14, go in as a new character. Someone has moved? Go back to 04/15/14 and ONLY that day, and just use the regular method to make them stay. If it happens to be a strange day where nobody will ping, you'll just have to hope for the best when the next day naturally comes up. Actually, if I couldn't get someone to ping, I would enter the next day as a new character and go look for the villager who you know wants to move. If they are wandering around, they aren't going to be in boxes that day and you can stop them. If they are in their house in boxes, you will need to ask for advice here. I would think you'd have to find a way to stay on the day before and get them to ping.

During most events, they will ping after the event is over.

Fortunately, you are safe right now.

Well I went back to the original date and Muffy pinged me to move...
But her house was still there when I had made a new character 1 month forward like you said,
so I'm not sure this works 100% of the time...
