Will my 8th lot autofill?

As the game goes, my 6th plot has my campsite villager, who is currently in boxes. I set up my 7th lot and by going to a mystery island, Shino will be in boxes tomorrow. Now, I stupidly put down another lot, which hasn't been "sold" yet (This was before my campsite villager was even in boxes.) If I go to a mystery island, will I find a villager or am I bound to let it autofill? I hope this isn't too confusing, please let me know if I need to specify anything.

I think only one can move in at a time. You don’t always get a villager to auto fill right away . I have had to wait a few days when trying to get them to auto fill. You should still be able to get a villager from island hopping. It’s not all bad if it does auto fill. I have had some great villagers thanks to plots auto filling.
