Will insect appear when gate open?

FINALLY IT IS RAINING!!!!yay

I know snail only appear when it rain so I gonna catch one!but my friend is in my town,will this affect the spawn that snail will not appear when I have visitor??urghh my friend is finally here to play with me and today is raining so I have both difficulties ><

I'm pretty sure that the snail will be fine. Off the top of my head, the only bugs I know of that don't appear when the gates are open/when there are visitors in town are the tarantula, scorpion, and bee. They don't appear because it would be difficult to program them (they have to lock onto one player to attack, which they can't do with multiple people), and you wouldn't be able to have the tarantula/scorpion black-out with multiple people either. The snail doesn't really affect any players, so I believe that you'll be good to go.

Best of luck! The snail can be a bit tricky to see, especially if it's storming. Keep your eyes peeled.
