Will Gamestop buy my Japan 3DS?

Part of me wants the 2DS just for collection, but I really don't want to pay money for something I don't need.

Will GameStop take my Japan 3DS? It comes complete with Animal Crossing New Leaf (If they don't do a factory reset).

If not, I'm sure I can get more money on ebay

I believe that GameStop is usually against selling imported games on their stores. You're better off using ebay (or any website like that) if you want to sell it.

By the way, if you just format the system, you'd lose everything but the licenses of all of your purchased/downloaded games from eShop.
