The only thing I wanted is an updated flash for Wii-net, the ability to copy and paste, and the ability to save pictures from the internet onto your wii.
Ditto.

And no more Youtube XL.
You can change youtube back to normal you know, and then it saves that onto your cookies so you never see XL again unless you delete them.

Hell yeah... but could that open the chance for a wii to catch viruses? :o

Considering the Wii is a family-oriented console, they probably assumed that most families already have a DVD player.

Your better off hacking your Wii.
My family does have a DVD Player, but it's downstairs and not in my room.

You can watch/play DVDs on the Wii with DVDx and the right IOS... I do it on a regular basis.

I doubt they will add support for just the action replay though.

No, as long as your not downloading things it's fine, and there just pictures so that's not really downloading just saving some pixels...
Not to mention even if a website tried to give the wii a virus, it's not a computer so the virus couldn't do anything.

well what i would want would be... dang it i lost what i was thinking of, and it was a really good idea too! well it seems obvious that they cant change the amount of memory, or else people would probably just hack their wiis to have like infanint memory.

crap double post

As for the DVD dilemma, I just use my PS2 for all of that. And the only way the Wii can get a DVD player is to either hack it, or send it in to Nintendo HQ so they can manually update it.

I highly doubt a simple digital update can solve any hardware problems. The only thing I can possibly imagine is a new channel, or Mega's idea for improved flash support.
Of course, with new flash support, must come higher standards for internet protection against malicious software. Hackers might possibly start making bugs for the Wii in order to take advantage of unsuspecting Wii users.
