How do wig colours work? Can I get them changed at Shampoodle's or at the Retail? I want to place a blonde wig on a mannequin but have brown hair on my character and want to keep brown hair. Is there any way I can do this?
As far as I know, the wigs are always displayed as their default colour (usually brown) but change to the players hair colour whilst being worn. As far as I know, there is no way to change a wigs default colour to blonde.
Most of the wigs, as already mentioned, change color with your player's hair, and default to brown when being displayed, so you can't change the color of them on a mannequin. The only exception are the wigs you can get through Amiibo campers, which don't change color at all. If you're okay with the style, the Pompompurin hat is a wig with blond hair.
Thanks for the help everyone! Since this is an alt I was going to change my hair colour but realised I had another mannequin that needs a brown wig. I have a specific wig I want to use so the Pompompurin hat won't work but thanks for the suggestion! I'll see if I can work with the brown colour of the wig and hope for the best...
