Hiya! I planted these trees at the same time as I did the others around it. They have space to grow on all sides, but just won’t grow for some reason??? Any ideas as to why? D:

I recall in New Leaf that there was a limit to how many trees you could grow in a certain amount of space. That might be the case here. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

I ran into the same issue yesterday. I dug them up and planted them elsewhere, but haven't yet checked if they grew today. You can try planting it somewhere else and move it into your orchard once it's fully grown because it seems like the game is less strict about moving trees than it is about growing them.

In NL a sapling would die if it was surrounded by too many trees, but you could circumvent that by planting your trees "inside out" which means planting the innermost trees in your orchard first, letting them grow, and then planting another layer outside of that the next day, and so on.

yeah, i'm fairly certain the nh way of planting saplings is the same or similar to nl, as i planted a *small* cluster of trees, and several saplings did not grow. i circumvented this by just eating a fruit, digging up a medium - full tree, and planting it where the saplings didn't grow.

you could definitely wait for each row to grow before planting more, but i'm too impatient for that LOL

AC games are picky about tree growth, with dead spots, and/or having too may trees close by.

The solution here is
Eat fruit.
Dig up other trees
Drop them in those spots
