so there's this problem regarding some gardening in my town.
it's a sweet olive bush that refuses to grow in this place.
i've looked it up about why this could happen but i could not find anything that applies to me.
I learned a thing or 2 from my search such as only a certain amount of bushes can grow in a 5x5 grid, and that when a river or pond ''break'' the 5x5 grid it starts anew on the other side.

this spot is NOT a dead spot as you were probably typing or thinking.
i had a bush on this spot before, but when i planted a new one on that spot, it didn't grow, ( there was no update or anything in between that could've made it a dead spot )

it is in a 5x5 grid with only 5 bushes, and 4 trees ( for if that matters )
( the one i'm trying to plant will be bush number 6 )

so why won't it grow ?

the only thing i haven't tried is nuking that area ( cut and dig up everything bush or tree related ) and plant on that spot first. ( which i don't want to do until i've tried anything else. )

any ideas ?

may you provide a screenshot of the area in question and mark the spot you're having trouble with?

I've run into a similar problem before where a tree wouldn't grow even though I'd had one there before and nothing had changed. I ended up having to cut down 3 of the nearby trees and replant them in a specific order, starting with the one that wouldn't regrow. So I don't think you'd need to nuke the whole area, but taking out a few bushes and/or trees close by and replanting the one that won't grow first might help.

the area is obstructed by trees and bushes.
i can how ever let you visit my town.
or my dream address so you can see for yourself.

If everything else isn’t working, I think your best shot is to dig up all the other bushes and everything else to see if it is the fault of the game our your placement. You can test it to see how things are working then you could go back to normal in an order that works for you.

That happened to me as well where a bush couldn't grow in a specific place. Instead I planted a tree there and it worked fine.

This happened to me aswell. There was a clear spot with nothing next to it but a pear tree couldn't grow

at last, i found the answer.
so, the wat that the game works, is that in every grid of 7x7 there is a maximum of 8 trees that you can plant there.
but in that same grid of 7x7 can only be 15 trees/bushes in total ( so, 8 trees and 7 bushes, of 5 trees and 10 bushes, etc... )

which means the 16th ( even though it's not a dead spot ) will wilt, tree or bush.
that's why the bush wilted, it was the 16th bush/tree to be planted.

everyone still thanks for looking into it for me :)
