the sad thing is that a character like Eggman would make a more interesting character with potenial than some undeserving characters like Jigglypuff. yes he's a nintendo character but really as a pokemon he's kinda meh. lucario, charizad and mewtwo all make sense due to popularity and greninja just got introduced but jiggly? meh. not judging him as a fighter (he's not a bad fighter at all) but as a character. I think a different character shoulda taken his spot a long time ago. my opinion

u confused me. Jigglypuff is a girl! Not a boy!! Jigglypuff is an old character, puff was like one of the most popular pokemon around the time when the kanto stages of the anime were airing in the west and asia, so only naturally nintendo capitalised on that. Jigglypuff has pretty much no relevance to the pokemon series any more, so I totally understand why you think that she's undeserving of a spot, though arguably the exact same things could be applied to characters like duck hunt duo, game and watch, ROB and other oldies.

Jigglypuff was popular in the first few games and anime seasons, but his poularity faded away and he's not relevant anymore. if they would reserve his spot for another pokemon I'd say characters like Blaziken or Gardivoir are more deserving these days because they are more relevant/popular.
also back in the day old characters like Eevee and Dragonite were as iconic as Jillypuff, they still kinda are popular these days

I disagree on the kirby part. I don't think jiggly is a kirby clone at all

The only semi-clone thing about Jiggly and Kirby are the multiple jumps and the featherweight class. (and maybe a few of the hitboxes.)

I loved sonic when i was little and i have a amiibo of him, currently he is on my desk along with Resse, K.K. Mable and Cyrus.... i actually like him and smash and i think it has to do something with the competition between Nintendo and Sega...
