Pashmina pinged me to tell me she was moving out a few days ago, which I said yes to since I don't like her.

Well, today I randomly went to her house to talk to her, and she reminded me she was out in 2 days, which I said 'take care!' to. BUT THEN she said she's gonna stay because 'there's something else she has to do in this town'!

WHY?!?! I hate you Pashmina...

I don't usually do that, and besides, I turned my 3DS off a while after. There's no turning back.

Never talk to a villager that you've decided to let go of unless they're actually in boxes, because yeah, as you found out, they can change their minds.

Next time when it happens just turn off the game w/o saving. She won't remember if it's not saved and continue to ignore her until she moves out.

I'm just so glad that I've never had her in my town, but also sad because I can still get her if I'm not careful.
She's an eyesore and her little jingle that plays when you talk to her hurts my ears.

When a villager changes their mind about moving and I want them to leave, I just restart my game. It's easier to do when you save right before you talk to them tho

Now Beardo wants to move... he's asked to move a lot, so this time I'm letting him go. :/

People have already told you this but it can't hurt to be said again, once a villager said yes to moving out you should NEVER talk to them again.
