Why is this happening?

I've basically fixed all my villagers' homes and returned them back to original. However, my Goldie has a simple love seat where a minimalist sofa should be. When she invites me over she won't sell the love seat to me (I have enough bells). Also, when she asks for any furniture that I think would fit her home, she replaces the other 2 x 1 item in the room and never the love seat. Why is this and how do I fix it?

I'm not sure why, but can I ask how you revert villagers' homes back to normal? I filled Lolly's house with junk because I thought she just loved everything I carried around...

You have to give them furniture you want them to have whether it be when they ask to replace something or if you buy something in their home to free up space for an item

I'm not sure why, but can I ask how you revert villagers' homes back to normal? I filled Lolly's house with junk because I thought she just loved everything I carried around...

• When they ask you to visit, wait until they ask you to buy something and remove something you don't like. That at least gets some of the junk out.
• Send them a piece of their original furniture in wrapping paper, attached to a letter. They'll put it in their homes, but not necessarily in the "right" space.
• When they ask you to give them any furniture, give them a piece of their original furniture.
• When they ask you to help them replace something specific, that's your prime chance to get something original in the right space.

Don't carry anything around that you don't want them to have. If you have a shirt or a piece of furniture you don't want them to have and they ping you, drop it quickly before you talk to them. Also, fill Re-Tail with high-priced flowers and they will be less likely to get rid of their original stuff.

Nothing in the world can ultimately stop them from changing their homes. I did all of the above and Stitches still managed to replace his bed with a ringside table. I have no idea where he got it. But, you can at least combat it to some degree.

That's my problem though

Bullet #1- I wait until she asks but she won't let me buy it
Bullet #2- This will just result in her putting it in the 2 x 1 space behind her and that'll be a headache to fix
Bullet #3-I've been resetting over and over and she won't put it there. I know for sure she asked for any furniture
Bullet #4- Never asked either even though I've also resetted for it

I have no problem preventing my villagers from getting something bad in their homes. I'm asking how to fix one piece of Goldie's furniture that was placed there before I started intentionally keeping my villagers original.

I've got the same headache with Skye. She's supposed to have an alpine bed in the center, an alpine dresser on the right, and a minimalist sofa on the left. She put a bathtub in place of her alpine bed, so I gave her another one, which she put in the right place. She had an alpine sofa on the right and a dice stereo on the left, so I was going to try to fix those. I sent her an alpine dresser, and she replaced her alpine bed with it. I don't remember where she put the minimalist sofa I sent her, but she won't get rid of the dice stereo.

LOL I am facing the same issue lols~ Roald have this balloon bed in his house and terrible ugly =.= I want to get it of it for soooooo long but he just couldn't sell it to me.
