Why is Static a Favourite?

Static is a favourite among many, but why may I ask?
I got him in a campgrounds area and asked him to move because at the time I needed more villagers but I never really liked him that much. So tell me forum why is Static so awesome? Personality, appearance, house? I used him to get a dreamie of mine so don't ask

I think it's because of his appearance. He's unique and looks cool, which is probably the reason most people choose their dreamies. It's why I pick mine, at least.

I dunno, I don't really care much for him, but I see how he can be popular

He's my favorite villager of all time. I love how squirrels are designed in AC, how they pitter around when they walk and how their bushy tails flick up and down, it's adorable.

Static appeals to me most out of the squirrels because of his coloration and lightning fur pattern, the colors mix well and the lightning is just... cool. I love electricity and lightning bolts.

His face is basic and cute (such a charming smile), and hearing that deep cranky voice coming from his tiny self is funny. That and I love the cranky personality, I find it very likable.

Of course, all of that is just my opinion. I simply adore Static more than any other character in the game. So happy to have him in my town, even if his house is planted in a horrible location.

He's unique looking, which is what makes most of the most popular villagers so popular, imo. Julian because he's the only unicorn, Flora the only flamingo, etc. Also I personally like the cranky personality.

meh, Reading his personality on wiki. I'm not ecstatic about this villager. I guess he sounds like an emo type villager that everyone likes.

Static is a purple squirrel with a lightning bolt that is into electronics. That alone I feel is awesome.

He isn't my dreamie, but I certainly appreciate his company.

I like him solely for the fact that he is a squirrel. The cooler looking cranky one. I mean, have you SEEN Ricky?? That thing just looks derpy beyond belief. I want a squirrel of each personality type to fill my town. .

He's not my favorite squirrel but I must admit he looks awesome with that lightning mark on his head.
