after watching this stupid post that was auction off fang for 3 hours. i messaged the sender my offer of 5 mil. and he said that someone posted 4 mil right before the 3 hours ended. this has happened twice now. should i just give up on fang?
why is it so frustrating to get fang.

Try the reset trick! I got him once at the campsite. When you start a new day, make a new file instead of starting with your mayor and keep trying until you get the villager you want and if you do, just go through the whole process with your new character and then you can save it and then demolish the new house. Then just start with your mayor and get him to move and then that's it! It take a while sometimes though, so if you are determined, it might take hours. I did this to get Stitches and I was lucky to get him sooner then later. Good luck!

Did you read the post? OP ran out of time, unless you mean something different?
I would use the reset trick with the campsite, random plots, or use both if you have to XD

So every time you start a new day with a new character there will be someone in the campsite? Or is it random? And if there is someone you don't like, do you just quit without saving and make a whole new character again? I feel like that could be very time consuming

because i spent the last 3 hours bidding others and i guess there was a post limit and it wouldn't let me post anymore. so i had to message the guy my bid.

no it ended at 8 and at exactly 8 the guy bid 4m while i messaged the person who was selling fang 5m. but the guy said the other person bid before me so i was too late.

this is on a reddit village adoption site. there's a post limit. well i'm pretty desperate for fang and it wouldn't let me post saying "you've posted enough wait 10 min" when there was only 2 minutes left until the auction closed.

Everyday there is a chance that you will get a camper, it's not guaranteed though. And yes if there is someone you don't like you just quit (hit the home button and quit) and yup make a new character again. It is VERY time consuming haha. I did it for hours one day and I was exhausted rofl. But, like I said, if you are having not much luck getting a dreamy, it is worth giving it a shot!
Echoing this. I passed up Fang four times while resetting for Lobo.
