Okay, so I recently decided to pick ACNL back up. I go to start my game and everything is going great until I get a certain point in the loading screen. The game freezes and a message pops up on the bottom of my 3DS that says: "An error has occurred, forcing the software to close. The system will now restart." I thought it was just a glitch so I tried opening ACNL again, the same thing happened. I tried it for a couple times and then I thought it was my system. I took my other ACNL cartridge and it worked just fine. I'm really confused why my game is doing this.

It's a physical copy.

Hmm... This happened to me with a digital copy. What another user suggested me was to repair the software by using the Eshop, (Which worked.) but that wouldn't work for yours. Have you dropped or updated your system recently?

I had not dropped my system for a while which was when I was still playing so it can't be that. I updated my system to 10.3 not to long ago.

Have you tried ejecting the cartridge? Or even just maybe stop using it? That's what another user suggested to me who had the same problem (Also digital, though). With me, I kept reloading the game and eventually my file did load.

I've tried ejecting it twice and it didn't work. I guess I'll just keep ejecting it and then trying.
