Why have you restarted your town?

I have two towns and I am seriously thinking about restarting my second one...

The first one was restarted as well, but because it was my very very first one I made a lot of mistakes with picking the map and placing pwps, lots of rookie mistakes. But many nice villagers were lost...

Now my problem is how I am placing the dreamies, I don't like the system anymore. And I seem to be truly connected to just one villager. But I really like my mayor persona and I really like the ideas I've had for it, especially since I have been planning it in my head for half a year! But now it's not working out.

This struggle got me wondering for what kind of reasons have other people restarted their towns!

I'm cursed with being extremely picky for any long term game things such as maps. I'm the same with my Sims 2 neigbourhoods. I'll think I'm happy with everything, then find fault with it later. I'm determined to keep my recently restarted AC town for good though. I miss my previous one now that it's gone, especially because I had it since NL came out.

I restarted my town numerous times, but I ususally do it after a hiatus because I lose the connection with my town.

I have two towns.
My first ever town I have never restarted, and I don't think I ever will. Even if I tire of it.
My second town I have restarted a bunch, mostly because I was trying to change the map, or get different starting villagers. I was originally going to use it as a cycle town.
