I just did the stupidest thing ever. I knew moe was moving soon and I told him he could. Then I later changed my mind so I tted to the day (I thought) was the day before he was in boxes so I could tell him not to move. I opened up the game and.. moes house was gone. I quit without saving and then tted back... he's still gone. How sad...

aw im so sorry i lost marshal a while ago and i was devastated. luckily the 16 villager cycle is done so i can get him again. You could always try doing the same? there are lots of nice villagers too so im sure you will find someone else you love as much as him

Hey, just a tip for the future! You can talk to a villager any day before their moving date and they'll bring up something about moving (How they'll miss everyone, etc.) and it'll give you the option to tell them not to move. Meaning that next time someone says they're gonna move, and you say yes and then change your mind, you don't have to TT at all. I'm pretty sure just speaking to them after they announce they're moving will have them bring up dialogue about moving and you'll have the choice to tell them not to leave. I'm also pretty sure this is the first topic they'll bring up with you when you speak to them for the first time on that certain day as well.

Oh thanks! I've only tried talking to them the day right before they move so I guess I thought I had to go to before he was in boxes
