why doesn't redd like my island??

I'm really excited for redd to come to my island, but i time traveled on the first day of the update to get a villager in boxes. isabelle did her morning announcement voiceline, i saw him around once or twice, but it's been a few days and he hasn't shown up. i only tt to open up plots for my dreamies, so i didn't talk to him in an effort to keep all the story elements in real time. he hasn't shown up in the past days (it's been about two or three days since i last tt'd to get a plot open for raymond).

how often is he supposed to swing by? i really want to have my first meeting with him be as the story intended but i really want to get some art for my museum if anyone knows the frequency of his visits i'd really appreciate it

I heard there’s a redd bug right now if you time travel during the museum expansion he won’t show up the fix is to buy a genuine painting from someone island and donating it and it fixes it trying to find the forum section so you can have a look

Did you donate a genuine art for the museum? If not, you need to buy a genuine art from someone's else island and give it Blathers. It's a glitch :/

I'm not buying the genuine art while this is going on, so if you still didnt get a genuine when Redd appears again here I can give mine to you =) it's assured to fix the problem!
