Why does everyone hate pears?

I love the pears! My favorite is probably apples or maybe cherries but pears are nice too. I love the way they look when they're perfect.

Their perfect form is gold and pretty. Othewise they're okay, but they're a nice neutral fruit and blends well in greenery.

Because pears taste really bad and I dislike them a lot irl.. Oranges taste best of all fruits in the game, I think the perfect oranges could be based on something like this btw.. (honeybell oranges?)

I thought "Doctor Who" when I saw this question but I don't like Pears because you can't really see them very well on the trees in some seasons and they're not really that bright/pretty as other fruits on trees.

Got them on my partners town, yes they aren't as pretty as my perfect cherries but I do like them.
But do I seriously need to be as picky as that? xD

I wouldn't never choose a town map based upon a fruit type, that is idiotic on my opinion. I will choose it through a map because you know, it's way more important than a fruit.

Besides I do like pears in the real world, they are tasty :3.

Sometimes players on AC are too picky, they should just have fun and try to do their best based on what their town offers :3

For native fruit, I like the appearance of the apple the best.

The orange is my second favorite.

The cherry is my third favorite.

It's between peach and pear for least favorite.

Between four game copies, I've dealt with them all. And I never get tired of the apple (which I have in Temps) or the orange (which I have in my original town Applewin). The cherry is okay; but it's not outstanding. The peach and pear look like they are best for the autumn season; so I can see why there are some who find one or both of them dull.

I hope the next "Animal Crossing" involves more fruit trees. (Especially native fruit trees. The lemon might be pretty impressive.)

I have pears in my second town and the perfect pears look really nice imo. I have cherries in ny first town and I really don't like them. The difference between the normal and perfect cherry is so small and it annoys me

And the difference between pears and perfect pears is not small?

Pears and oranges are tied for my second-favorite town fruit.

The only reason I don't have them, though, it because Apples suit the theme of my town far better given their mythological connection to immortality.

If I didn't have my theme, I'd have pears for certain.

I don't mind pears. They don't really stand out on green trees, but I would still plant them in my town.
