I noticed that lots of people seem to dislike pears or at least not want them as native fruit. Why is that? I have pears in my town and I think the gold ones are gorgeous!
The fruit I really don't like are oranges! I don't like the color or the fruit and the perfect ones look like tumors!

I love oranges. They have sentimental value for me, and also, my town is called "Sunspire" and just happened to have oranges in them (little bright orbs?) so I think it's fitting. Unfortunately, I'm not a big fan of the perfect oranges either. They kind of look wonky.
I love the perfect apples and cherries! They look awesome.
And I do like pears. I have a nice orchard of lemon and pear trees together and I think they look really cool.
I have pears in my second town and the perfect pears look really nice imo. I have cherries in ny first town and I really don't like them. The difference between the normal and perfect cherry is so small and it annoys me
I used to have apples. Now I have pears and I really, honestly prefer apples. Every other fruit, really. Their perfect fruits are actually different or pretty or changed beyond just being yellow instead of green.
But the pears are basically the same shape as perfect oranges.
I think people hate pears because they blend in with the grass and trees, and all the others are aesthetically pleasing.
I don't care for the fruit, but I think pear trees are beautiful. Also, pear is the native fruit for both of my towns, and perfect pear trees infest my main town.
I have pears in Celadon, and I don't like their perfect fruit or shape in general that much. They are better than oranges, though. I'd say my favorite fruit is cherries, followed by apples.
I personally don't like perfect pears because they're kinda... ugly and dull looking. Normal ones are okay, but I still prefer every other kind of native fruit to them.
My favorites would be apples though. Then peaches, cherries, and oranges.
I've never had pears as my native fruit, so I have a pretty neutral stance on them. TheEliteEmpoleon makes a good point, though. All the other fruits are colourful, but a town full of pears in summer sounds way too green for my liking.

My native fruit is peaches and I didn't really care... but I found it funny when my friend called the perfect fruit golden bottoms...
So now I'm quite happy I have peaches as my native fruit, ehehe they look interesting.

I completely agree with you! I too, have and love pears. (Which is weird because I hate pears in real life xp) I am also not fond of the tumorous oranges. No offense native orange owners.
