Why do you love Marshal?

please. Can someone explain the Marshal craze to me?

I've never had the pleasure of him living in any of my towns. I've been friends with a lot of smugs.

Every time I see him in a Dream Town he seems cranky. And he is always outside so I never get to see inside his house.

If you love him, tell me more...I want to understand! I might even put him in one of my towns. Tell me stories of Marshal!

I like him. He's cute and has a great house interior, but I like Static more when it comes to grumpy squirrels.

His Sloppy Set is cute in a weird way and his design is cute. The biggest thing I see in him is that he reminds me so much of my youngest nephew in that his cute little face reminds me of my Sam. He's adorable!

I think it's just because of hype/popularity and that he's "cute." I like Filbert more than him though. I personally think he's more adorable than Marshal.

I doubt that popularity has anything to do with it. We all like who we like, and I liked him waaay before I knew he was popular or hyped. I also know someone here who says he looks like her little boy. I think he just strikes a cuteness chord with some of us and we like that feeling.

But yeah...Filbert is really cute, too!

THIS LITTLE DUDE THO, SMUG PERSONALITY + his cranky face is hilarious lmao. I don't even know where to begin with how much I love him. His house exterior is just my style (I live in a contemporary house) and his interior is just so cute with his sloppy furniture (think messy bachelor).

I really love the squirrel animation, as their little tail goes thumpa-thump when they walk and just alkdjhsdf...

i love him, i lost him sadly when time travelling so i have to do the 16 villager cycle to get him back at first i didnt love him like everyone else, but once i actually got him he grew on me. he has the best house interior, and when he walks his tail bobs up and down, and i love how grumpy he looks. plus hes small and fluffy

at first i didnt want to like hiim because everybody else liked him, so when i got him in my town i was gonna tt him out but i started to get to know him and i just fell in love. TO have him and static together is just the best

i personally don't really like him. I don't find him that different or amazing, he doesn't have any special features. He's just white and a squirrel. I don't even think he's cute. Tangy and Tia are pretty awesome, they have special features

I'm not sure about anyone else... But for me, at least, villagers with the same personality can have a different feel to them when they're said by different characters.

When Marshal says smug dialogue... I imagine him to be this little kid who thinks he's really, really cool... When he's not. And when I imagine Marshal like that, suddenly everything he says is just really funny to me.

I don't really get that vibe with other smugs, either. It's only Marshal. I don't know, I just find him hilarious.
