when they move in? I SWEAR. Dotty. I just. she just... she had to move in front of my house. and I feel so bad because someone gave her to me, but she's in front of my house!! ;__; like, if she were more to the side, it'd be okay... why, Dotty? I love you! ;__;
this kinda sucks. I wish I could do plot resetting, but that requires more patience than I have. I wish I'd put something in front of my house now, but I wanted to save my spot for The Roost just in case... pffffffffffff.
it just makes me wish we could have spots where we don't want them to move, without having to use pwps. x__x would be so much simpler.

ADDITIONALLY, I have 2 villagers who chose to move in front of town hall. and Dotty is partially lined up with them. it's ridiculous.

I can't be alone in this. please tell me about villagers moving in bad/maybe funny places in your towns. it will probably make me feel less pained.

I had Peck move in from someone's void (and I didn't want him at all) and he plopped his house right in a corner edge of my map, crushing 3 perfect cherry trees and is blocking the entrance to my side beach. Any time I need to use the beach there I have to navigate around his house.

When Marshal moved in, he didn't put his house in a particularly bad spot, but he's all by himself in an area of my map so he's usually walking around alone. Similarly, though she wasn't a move-in and is an original villager, Alli is all by herself as well in the bottom right hand corner of my map.

I had Lucky move right in front of my mayor's house and Ribbot in front of the town's main bridge. What makes it worse is, they're both dreamies. I finally got tired of where they were so I let them move away.

omg, Peck. in my first town, Glitter, I had a similar thing happen with Anchovy. he wasn't quite blocking the ramp to the beach, but he was close by it, and right in the middle of an open area. x__x I was pleased when he finally left... LOL

aww, Marshal. I have a feeling I'll end up with someone alone in some spot, but who knows.
Alli <3 she moved in an awkward spot in my last town, Wakeport. I never really minded, but her house did look strange where it was. it was nearer to the train station/one of my bridges, an odd place for a house.

aww! :c yeah, Dotty's a dream villager of mine, so it's a bummer. I guess I'll be thankful that this is the start of a new town, and I can reasonably cycle for her. it'll still take time, but there's no one else in town that I have any attachment to right now, so it'll work out. in fact, a big reason I reset is because Dotty left my last town and I had decided not to cycle for her. then later, after getting everyone else I wanted... I changed my mind. but I was like "it's too late, even if I let go of some of them"
such a pain. x__x

Fricken Truffles decided to move into my first town right on top of my first batch of blue roses ever. Then Paula joined right after on my first perfect peach tree. Two of my least favorite villagers wanted to get their revenge I guess. It's thanks to them that I learned how to plot reset so I guess I got something out of it lol

Kyle, who (if you couldn't tell) is my all-time favorite villager, moved in right beside my mayor's house. Under normal circumstances, I'd be happy about this, but he's almost blocking my main bridge! And Winnie is almost blocking it on the other side! Ughhh! I can easily move the bridge but it's so convenient where it is, ughhh.

Back when Mallary (my all-time favorite) was moving unexpectedly from my main town of Ruddyoak, I decided to move her into my second town, Goblin. Well, Goblin is based on the movie "Labyrinth," so I had already planned where I was going to place the Bog of Eternal Stench. While I was plot resetting for Mallary, she insisted time and time again on plotting her house right in the center of the Bog area. I was literally talking to my 3DS, like 'Mallary, no! No! You can't live in the Bog of Eternal Stench, Mallary! You will smell foreverrr!" Haha. Anyway, she finally plotted above the town's only pond, which happens to be next to Re-Tail--I figure a snooty likes to shop, right?

ehehehe, aww. :'> I wish I cared to plot reset, I just kinda hope for the best after I can manage to put some pwps in places I don't want villagers to be. I'm a little thankful that there isn't much cliff space for them in my new town, in Wakeport Coach moved RIGHT by the cliff and I was just like "... why..."
I have 3 villagers all right around the pond by Re-Tail right now, which is funny. 3 starting villagers, all around that one pond. the only pond in town. LOL

My house has a river in front and to the right, plus a flower bed to the left. No one can move in front of or beside me. However, villagers like to move in behind me, which always looks odd because they can't line up their house with mine. It's always off to the side a bit because of the shape of the river. Lucha moved there yesterday. It doesn't bother me, but I wish they'd move closer to the beach ramp instead. :p

that's why I always plot reset. the worst spot i've had someone move into was behind my mayor's house. I didn't like the villager too much, I only got her because she was an uchi, so after a while I let her go.

I always plot reset to determine where my villagers live. However, during the time when I had just started my game, Tia moved in and partially destroyed my path. Quite a shame, too, because she's really cute.
