Why do my villagers keep planting flowers

So I decided that I don't want red flowers in my town so I got rid of all the ones I have.every day when I go to my town there are 4 new red flowers so I trample them or sell them, but the keep planting them. As time has gone by they have been crafty in where they place them hahaha like behind a building where you maybe wouldn't notice. I don't mind when they plant the other flowers just not red.

I believe it's because of the Beautiful Town Ordinance you want a perfect town...so they're just trying to help

Yep, villagers will always plant flowers. Just keep getting rid of them if you don't want them.

I sometimes annoyed by that too. I seriously need the BT ordinance and at one time I didn't want my villagers to plant too much flowers

Actually the villagers still plant some random flowers, even without the Beautiful Town Ordinance on.
I see how them planting random flowers can be annoying, but it doesn?t bother me, I just pick them up and either sell them or use them elsewhere.

Just put QR paths throughout the entire town and/or cover any open areas with flowers, bushes and trees that *you* wanted,
so they won't have the space to plant anything. Worked well in my main town.
It's super adorable when your villagers are watering the flowers though. C:

Ya I don't have the btw ordnance I have the night owl....I do like that they plant flowers but I wish they would for coordinate with me hehe

The creators probably just wanted the villagers to be a bit more instrumental towards the town. Which could be why they plant/water flowers, give money to pwps, etc. I mean, they didn't do squat for the town in previous games lol.

i get annoyed as well when they plant normal flowers especially yellow.

The villagers are just trying to make the town look nice. There's nothing you can do to stop it. Just pluck the flowers you don't want. I sell them to Reese for 40 Bells each.
