I can brawl sometime.

I don't particularly like the online, I played once and it sucked.

It is a really good offline game, especially with friends.

For the same reason no one plays Animal Crossing anymore. Nintendo hasn't been able to create long-lasting online multiplayer with appeal.

That's probably why. Just look at other online games. Just for example, Halo 3, as old as it may be, is still widely played.

Wow, I'm surprised that I don't really see anyone playing Brawl. Back in the 2008, it was quite popular. I still guess the "Games get boring after mastering, beating or completing it" trend still apply to most video games, even if they last for quite a while.
The lack of depths in adventure mode and poor, somewhat limited online mode are my biggest complaints, which I stopped playing somewhere after September 2008, and not wiling to go back. I even tried the usual rules of what most of the online community would do against me, and it gave me more of depression rather than fun. That's why I love to mess with items (but not those nearly insta-KO items), and enjoying the large variety has the game to offer. I still laugh during the pratice mode, when I leave a bunch of Bob-Ombs in the same ground, then hit them up, and sent off-screen quite fast, from 0% to 125%!
Good times!

Aye. This game is meant for fun, and the "cheap and luck inducing" items and stages are there for you to have fun. Why do video games exist? So you can have fun, of course. Also, I made a custom stage where there's a box, and on the top of the box is a block that falls down once someone steps in for a while, there are lots of spikes and stuff that hurts you, and all the exploding items are on.

I actually found the level editor to be quite fun to mess with, I made the "100 Acre Wood" which is just a bunch of trees that you fight on, would probably make tourneyfags pee their pants.

Also, to anyone who thinks that Brawl has lost its touch over time, try playing with custom textures, music, stages, and characters. It really helps the replayability. We can't discuss how to do such things on TBT, though, so if you're interested, PM me.

Yeah, I've been playing a lot more Brawl by using those custom features.
