Why aren't my flowers breeding?

I made little sections for each type of plant and i have the colors together and they bred once a few days ago. But they haven't bred since then.. am i doing something wrong?
does anyone have any tips for me?

You gotta water them!
Only four hybrids can come out a day, so water around four and you should be fine!

Jacob's Ladders are also supposed to facilitate hybreeding, so maybe plant a few of those around too?
