My favorite villager is Ozzie. Him, like all lazies in New Horizons, has the funniest and cutest dialogue. We also have a lot of things in common. We both love snacks, food, drawing, and watching TV. When I first met Ozzie on a mystery tour when I was recruiting villagers for the main story in August 2023, I immediately knew he was a great friend to have. When I first spoke to him, I thought, ‘This adorable koala is definitely gonna be a good friend.’
I grew attached to Ozzie very quickly after he moved in. I spent as much time as possible with him. In fact, I put in more effort with him with our friendship than I did with any other villager at the time. My efforts paid off. Ozzie was the first villager on my island to give me his photo. He gave it to me in early September 2023. When I received it from him, I was very happy. I love that goofy adorable koala to bits. Ozzie is underrated. He’s my #1 favorite villager.
It’s hard to choose, but currently (of my villagers), I’d have to say Shari. Despite her cute appearance, she’s spunky and has a lot of sass. I also like giving her random clothing items to see which ones she likes lol.
Agreed, she's one of my favourites two. I used to hate her but then one day I realised: wait? What has she actually done but nice things? And from then on she's been a favourite
My two other favourites would be Tex and Melba. Tex was a villager in my very first town, yonks ago at this point, haven't seen him since, but he was my favourite from the start. Melba is just such a sweetheart lol
Mitzi, hands down. She was the first villager I ever met in the entire series and became an instant favorite. She was also the first ever "repeat" villager I had in the series, being the first villager to move into my Wild World town when I bought the game a week after. Rizzo comes in second, such an incredibly underrated and overhated villager. His unpopularity did help his Amiibo card stay dirt-cheap when New Horizons released and all the other cards skyrocketed in price though which made it easy to get him into my town, so I suppose there is a silver lining there... Then there's Blaire, Rosie, and Whitney to round out my top 5!
Zucker. He is one of my favorite Animal Crossing villagers and he is so cute! I have him on my Animal Crossing island. I also love Merry, the Peppy cat villager, Annalisa, the Normal anteater villager and Cherry, the sisterly/Uchi dog villager.
