Nope, I dislike football since I find it really boring and overrated- wow some guys are kicking a football around a patch of grass and getting paid too much for it- I mean, I like playing football with my friends when we can all mess around and not take it seriously but watching it on TV is boring...
Plus the coverage of the world cup is blocking out other important news, e.g. ISIS jihadists in Iraq trying to take over Baghdad, a fourth Indian woman having been found hanging from a tree over the past few weeks, etc. I also dislike FIFA with all this stuff about the 2022 world cup in Qatar only happening because of bribes...

But if you want to watch the world cup go ahead, I'm not stopping you, but don't force it down my throat please.

I have no interest in football myself. My Dad likes to watch it, but the only sports I'm interested in are figure skating and gymnastics. Running is fun too, but not really for watching or competing for me. (I prefer to run for time out)

So many people love football though. With so many people obsessed with the sport, it may as well be a religion or something.

Not really. The UK is always so optimistic but it's stupid because we haven't won in about 50 years and we are usually never even close to.
