I?m looking to put two villagers next to each other but I?m struggling which is the best option!!
If you have any other suggestions please comment them!
I already have Chrissy and Francine!

Marina,Octavian and Zucker have lived next door to each other in my town for a long time.They interact a lot but Marina and Octavian seem to be more of a couple.

Gayle and Del together are way cuter. She’s a Normal villager and he’s a Cranky villager, which kind of compliments them together. I don’t care for Alfonso and Gayle because he’s a lazy villager, so it doesn’t really match in my opinion. Plus, the color schemes between Gayle and Del are opposite yet also match. :]

question - is it known that same species villagers will interact more? is that a thing?

because my Octavian and Marina interact tons as well as Chrissy and Francine!

I'd think that villagers would react more in terms of their personalities and not what species they are. Because if you talk to any villager they will sometimes comment about how certain residents get along better and not so great with the others. I think neither of the two affect the outcome though. It'd be cool if they did.

I hate seeing my villagers just walking into each other for an embarrassing amount of seconds with a blank stare. It quickly pulls me out of the game I was immersed in.

I feel like the lazies are too young for relationships. Their mannerisms imply that they're probably the least mature of the personalities.

Marina and Zucker. I feel like Marina living next door to a grumpy/angry optopus would be too much for her. I?m sure it?s been said somewhere that normal villagers get along with lazy villagers more than they do with cranky because of their sweet natures.
