Felicity! I was looking for a cat villager since cats are my favourite animals, and when I saw her I fell in love instantly.
Luckily I managed to get her quickly, and she's been staying in my town ever since <3
I played the game without knowing there was such a variety. My first town I had Kevin and Deli but you know, non really stood out. I restarted and got the strangest town.
I had Tia, Snake, Phoebe, Tangy, etc as all random move-ins...A strange dreamie magnet town. However, the only one that really stuck was probably Phoebe out of that list. But my town I just learned to love my villagers. I had Alli, Winnie, Chief, Alice, and all these villagers that I just took care of cause I thought that was the point of the game.
I think I've been corrupted by the thought of dreamies...When I reset, I said goodbye to Winnie and Alice and I felt my heart sink...It's so easy to get dreamies now. I don't know about you but I feel a part of the game is to explore not just the land but the villagers. Random move-ins invite new characters you can learn about.
TL;DR Think about your dreamies, bruhthers and sistahs.
I didn't know about dreamies at the time, but when I saw Bianca in a random dream town I absolutely wanted her because of the design. She's just too cute! She wants me to be her #1 fan when she becomes a star lol
I forgot about her though after a while though since no one wanted to move from my town and whenever I had space, random wifi move ins and Streetpass ruined it. But then when Peanut moved out, I needed another peppy to replace her, Bianca popped into my mind and I just had to adopt her. I turned off everything wifi for a while and couldn't even trade or get streetpass stuff for a week. It took a LONG time for me to find someone who would give her away for bells/furniture instead of exchanging for other villagers, so yeah, she's definitely not moving considering how much effort I put into finding her lol
My first dreamie was Julian. I saw him in one of my friend's towns when I got NL, and since it was my first time playing AC, he was one of the first villagers I saw and actually wanted in my town, because he was a fabulous unicorn! A few days later, I found out that he randomly moved out of my friend's town and moved to my town, so it was fate! But I always feel bad that I took him from her town.
Diana. It was awesome. I was on gamefaq, i think, and i happen to see a giveaway thread. I happen to be the first person to post. I saw a picture somewhere and though she was cute. I had no idea she was popular. I had only 9 villagers, so i had room. It just all came together. . After that i was hooked, i really got into trading villagers. Not so much now, but for a while i was trading all the time, lol.
Apollo was the first dreamy and only dreamy I've obtained for myself in New Leaf. Luckily my other dreamy, Ozzie, was already living in my town when I first started the game, so I never had to look for him. The only other dreamy I would want would be Julian, but I love the two smug neighbours currently living in my town, so I don't need him right now.
