I'm not a huge fan of the 3D function either so I haven't used it at all for like, the past few months after returning to ACNL! I used to use it for Pokemon Sun though around 2 years ago and thus I'd use it for ACNL occasionally too like for the song while on the way to the island (lol)!
I used to love to but the 3D feature just ends up hurting my eyes and making them water so I can't really enjoy the game haha. Only use it for Mario Kart and Super Mario 3D Land, which I haven't played in like a year for both so I guess I just don't use it!
I used it for a few seconds to see what it looked like but that’s about it. I have rlly sensitive eyes so it just messes with them like mostly everything does.
I turn on the 3d from time to time on all of my games just to get the experience. It's a bit too powerful though if you ask me. And if you move your face or the system in the slightest the entire thing gets out of placement. Kind of a pain to deal with. I don't want to have to stay completely still while playing a game. That feels like torture and on top of that it strains your eyes.
I guess I’m one of the very few people that like the 3D feature xD I always play with a bit of 3D (I have an old 3ds model so I need to turn it on for it to work). Sometimes when I’m just looking at my village without actually playing, I turn it on all the way. You know just when you’re in the beginning screen and your town is shown and the camera moves around freely. Then I really enjoy looking at how pretty my town is with the maximum 3D on. Specially if it’s snowing, or raining, or there’s a rainbow or something like that. When I actually play I turn it on but just a little bit, not too much mostly because it dies my battery so quickly! XD
I have a New Nintendo 2ds xl, so no I don't use it. When I had my old 3ds I may have used it once, but just like everyone else said it hurt my eyes. Plus, I don't like getting headaches, so that's why I never used it again. X_X
