Who Time Travels to develop their town?

For me Animal Crossing is as much about the process as it is about the outcome. I don't TT in my main town but I do in the other one. I'm trying to do it less though. Time travelling makes it more difficult for me to become attached to a town for some reason.

Myself! Except I use the 3DS in game clock to TT so I can plot reset freely multiple times in a day. I go around town and talk to all the villagers I want to keep, and ignore the ones I want to leave. Eventually, I get pinged by an unwanted villager and the process is done!

I do, admittedly. My alt's house is a main project in Mayscore at the moment (I'm trying to make a library out of it) and it's a whole lot easier to TT and order what I need to order rather than wait for everything to arrive and limit myself to ten items a day. I also need a lot of bells for said items, so if I feel like it, I also set the time to late night to catch beetles for it. And then there's stocking up on axes at Leif's, seeing as I haven't got the golden axe yet.

Needless to say, I do so without shame.

Always! It's because I lost my ds with acnl in it a while back(i know how tragic!) and I not too long ago was finally able to buy a new ds and game! And i time travel a lot so i can get all the pwps so I can start making my town how i would like to have it. I also time travel to get all my dreamies faster. But once I finish landscaping my town I think I will stop and start taking it slow. I'll probably then start decorating my houses because right now I don't really care too much for the inside lol.

I have been lately since my favorite villager moved out, and a new, ugly one moved in v.v I rearranged some pwps, deleted a character, and have been tting to get this new villager out so I can make my new 4th character and plot reset Shari into the spot where Jeremiah used to be.

Me! I get bored too easily if I play in real time. So I play a few days every day. Helps me unlock pwps and the qr machine and shops faster, which is nice.

I used too TT but I don't anymore. I prefer to play in a more relaxed way now. But in the beginning I was so keen to see all the new things and could not wait.

Me. This game is dreadfully, painfully, disgustingly slow otherwise and I wouldn't play it as often if I couldn't TT. I'm not going to wait a full day for a damn flower to grow, or to build or demolish a single PWP. I'm not going to wait for ordered furniture to arrive in real time, I have to do that enough irl when I order from Amazon, why on Earth would I want to suffer like that in a game? lol.

Same for me. I play games to escape RL annoyances, the last thing I want is to confine myself to real time in AC.. That would just feel like work to me tbh.

I would also feel stressed about AC and RL scheduling conflicts if I was restricted to real time. At the moment I have nothing but time on my hands while I'm on bed rest for months on end. But as soon as my real life can resume I'm going to have work, social stuff, and partner and family commitments to deal with. I refuse to make my RL more complicated because of a game, even AC. Games are fun and fit into my schedule as much as possible, NOT the other way around!

i don't think there's a problem with it at all, however i found myself stuck in a constant trap of time travelling after doing this myself and it took the enjoyment out of the game.
i recently decided to restart both of my towns because of this 'cause it seemed like more of a chore

but it's ultimately your choice, you can try it and see how it works for you, just remember to be careful if you don't wanna lose villagers and all that c:
