Who should I choose as a smug in my town?

Honestly I do try avoiding choosing villagers based on their popularity. If they're popular and I love them, I will keep them and vice versa. I think Julian would be perfect for my town, but right now I just don't have a huge love for him, y'know? Having said that, he'd probably grow on me lol. I think I might cycle them through my town at the moment and choose who I like the most, thanks so much for your input guys!!
