I have nine dreamies already, but I can't decide on the tenth. They are:

Lobo
Chevre
Eugene
Carmen
Punchy
Purrl
Antonio
O'Hare
Frita

I kinda made this list trying to have at least one of each villager types. To be honest I only have Frita there to have an uchi villager (I don't really like either of the uchis) but she looks like fries so I'm sure she will grow on me with time :)

Some of them I chose because of different aspects of my life. O'Hare is there because I once spent a semester in Ireland, and Purrl is there because I always adored cats with different color spots. I might want to make the 10th villager someone related to France, because I'd love to visit that place at some point in my life.

Who do you think it should be? :)

You should pick Friga!

OOH, do Marcel! He's French, and a real cutie.

Ooooh he's a mime :D I haven't seen him before (yeah there are a lot of villagers I haven't seen yet). Kinda reminds me of the mime guy from The Incredibles.

Hi =) Blanche is probably french too because of her name ( it means "white" in french )

Hmmmmm I'm not really into the bird villagers. She would be cool though because her name reminds me of Mary-Margaret Blanchard from Once Upon a Time.

Yeah, I associate everything with all kinds of things.

I honestly don't think she is French, but maybe Francine the Snooty bunny? (Get it? France - ine?)
I can't think of any actual French villagers though. :'0
Though maybe you would like Diana? Or Merengue/Bettina since they both remind me chefs. And when I think of France, I think of yummy pastries and toasty bread! (Which chefs cook obviously! XD ) :>

I agree with you for Merengue =) She and her house remind me a lot of delicious pastries I buy sometimes ^^

LOOOOOL how true :D I've never thought about Francine that way. But the fact is, she's about to move out from me :) I'm trying to trade her for dreamies right now.

I've thought about Merengue... she's cute. Maybe a bit too pink, but I like the food design :)

I have Cousteau, and besides his catchphrase, he actually doesn't seem like it. Even his house is Asian-inspired. But, he's still one of my favorites! :)

I think you should go for Cousteau! he's definitely got references from into him from France I mean he even has a French name, he's also one of the more cuter frogs. With also the sterotypical french moustache, LOL. The moustache looks mega rad on him though he definitely works it. But maybe i'm just being a bit biased, since I really like the smaller villagers compared to the taller ones. He also has a french catchphrase, so he's definitely as french as it gets.

Although, just from reading the wiki on him a moment ago it seems that he's actually considered chinese in the japanese version. His name in japanese is spring roll which is a chinese traditional dish LOL, rather than a French name. I can see where they'd make that link though. Tbf, he could be french or chinese to me.

Also like with what hotcocoa said, his house is Asian inspired.Although he's meant to be french. Although it's probably because it can be implied that he's chinese in the Japanese version.

WOOW how did I never see him before? :D I never really liked the frogs, but he's awesome! (I wonder why he's a jock, though.) And looool it looks like he's a real multi-cultural villager :D Thank you very much for the idea!

The house layout doesn't matter, in a few months it will look like the house of a real hoarder anyway. That's what happens to all my villagers.

I didn't either (before I was looking at the Jock list), but he really is a cutie! He's asked to leave 3 times, and there's no way he's leaving, Lol. If you don't mind his house, I would definitely go for him or Marcel.

omg, I just looked at what Marcel's house looks like, and it's Asian inspired, also! That's kind of funny.

Lolly is French! Or atleast her catchprase is, "bon bon" which i guess means candy :p
Or mitzi! She's super cool

There are a few other villagers with French backgrounds or French names like Gaston,Jacques,Soleil and Blanche.

I imagine Soleil to come from texas or something, LOL it's just her whole look and catchphrase. Although she does have a french name so fair play nintendo, fair play. nice way to confuse me nintendo

I never really understood why that was a thing in this game. It would make more sense if only the villagers you ignore tried to move away. Once you befriend someone, they should want to stay in your town.

I got Punchy yesterday from the trade board :D I'm so happy! Of course it will be a few days until he moves in, and Francine is going to move out in the meantime, I don't suppose the two can happen on the same day... but I'll be patient :)

I already have Lobo, he was the first villager who moved into my town after the basic 5 :) We are bros for life.

Lolly is cute but I already have two cats (or at least one of them.... soon :D). It's true though that you can never have too many cats. If I ever created a new town I might create a cats-only town.

Loool Gaston :D I wish he didn't have the name of that Disney character... I'm not really fond of him :'D Jacques is cool though, too bad he's a bird.
