I love guinea pigs a lot. I used to have one, but mine died from a URI on the first day of summer vacation five years ago. :l

My guinea pig, Hammy [Above], I gotten her from one of my brother's friends who had to move and couldn't keep her, and no other friend would take her. Hammy's about 7 years old I believe. Only had her for over half a year so far.
I love this guinea pig.
She's quite the character.

When I was in kindergarten I got a guinea pig, and I named her Chewy (but we called her by her Chinese name "mun mun" which was supposed to mean Sinff Sniff). She was really cute, but jumped at everything so I couldn't play with her much.

i always begged for one when i was a kid tbh. i dont really desire a pet anymore as much as i used to, but if i had the time and actual responsibility to buy one, id definitely do it

I never had a Guinea Pig but one time my grandpa gave me a hamster complete with its cage and all but then SOME bozo decided to place the hamster along with its cage in the garage so it escaped and got eaten by a rat :^)

I had a calico colored one named patches when I was in middle school (almost 20 now) but gave her away after two years of owning her due to random severe allergies..

My family had tons of them when I was young. The last one when had passed away almost seven years ago, though. She was really special, because she was the offspring of a class guinea pig. I literally got to see her like a day after she was born. Guinea pigs are the cutest babies, hands down.

I have 5! :) We brought 2 girls, but one of them was pregnant before we brought her so she gave birth to 3 others, so now I have 5 :P

Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee <3 I had 7 Byron,Zeus,Hershey,Emilio,Simba,Nala and Anastasia

Byron passed away at the age of 1 yr 6 months, Zeus passed away at the age of 3, Hershey is still alive, and well and far (age 3)
Emilio is currently blind due to cataracts but is still alive and well and is playful as ever (age 4) Simba and Nala are siblings, Simba is alive and well (age 3) as for Nala she passed away after getting a URI at the age of 3 on a saturday, when i couldn't take her to any vets, so all i could do was stablelize her but she didn't make it </3 (age 3) annnndd Anastasia is 3 years old aswell, she suffers from general alopesia but apart from that is alive and well :D your piggy is super cute and chubby !

Before I got my guinea pig, I would always go to a friends house and admire her 2 guinea pigs. I've always wanted a guinea pig but my parents always said no [cause we've got 2 dogs, a cat, and lots of birds]. So, years went by since I stopped asking them.
One day my brother comes down to visit [he goes to college in a different city] and asked if I wanted a guinea pig, saying that a friend of his was moving and nobody else offered to take her.

"Mom can I have the guinea pig?"
"Are you gonna take care of it?"
"Yes."
"Ok then"

And yea I've had Hammy for over half a year already.
