I did not like Walt at first; but then he grew on me. I let him move, though and sometimes I regret it. I am new to the game and wanted to meet new animals.

My first ever cranky villager was Angus. I wasn't a huge fan of him, and he eventually moved out on his own without telling me.

Mine was Rizzo, but I hated him. He was also my starting villager in my first town which I didn't liked. :c

It was Del. I did not like him much and he was the first to move out. Then I got Chief a couple months later.

Walt, I used to really dislike him, but by the time that I let him move I had grown attached to him, and I regretted letting him move.

Elvis was my first cranky villager. He was actually one of my first five villagers as well.

First ever: I want to say either Groucho or Lobo but I don't remember too well.

In ACNL: Don't remember but I wouldn't be surprised if it was Butch. He's been in almost every NL town I've had and it kinda amuses me. My current and only cranky is Hamphrey who is also awesome. I really like the newer cranky villagers how they're kinda like caring parental figures. So far I haven't met one I didn't like.
