Oh yeah Harvey is great! I wish he had more dialogue options though, he feels kinda incomplete.
Love his green rain jacket and matching hat though, it's a great look.

I guess I'll be the first to say that my fave NPC is Saharah. I love all the silly broken-english conversations, and she gives some cool carpets and wallpapers.
As for least fave that would be Lyle. Seriously buddy, I just wanted to know my home's score. I don't need 10 minutes of dialogue about how sneaky your cronies are at getting into my home and their opinions on like every piece I own.

I did super love when Reese would yell at me if I tried to wake up Cyrus. Any character with extra lengthy dialogue I think most people dislike. Lyle, the Nooks, etc. Although, I kind of miss Blathers blathering about fossils and stuff. I wish they would have cut his other dialogue short and left those parts in tact. I thought it was fun and informative.
My absolute favorite is Rover. I absolutely love that cat. I own his plushie, amiibo, and amiibo card. Absolutely love him.
I also really like Celeste, Digby, Katrina, Pave, Kicks, and Lyle.
I also really like Gracie, since she's a flamboyant man in Japanese. Wish they'd kept that in the localized American release. It really is relatable since I am also a flamboyant man (who sometimes loves fashion - Gracie for Ru Pauls anyone?)
Least favorite? Zipper, Tom Nook, Resetti, Dr. Shrunk.

I hated Dr. Shrunk in Wild World, but he is my most favorite in New Leaf.

Yeah it sucks that Blathers no longer blathers on about what you bring him. It's not nearly as much fun donating insects in New Leaf.

Oh yeah Blathers was one of my favorites. I guess I just sort of forgot because he's so bland in New Leaf. I think that in the next game, they should keep the quick donations but give him an extra job as a tour guide. When you ask him to give you a tour, he would follow you around and talk about the various exhibits. They could really add a lot of dialogue since you would be choosing to listen to them.
Gracie should definitely be your mascot. They slay in whatever gender they are.

My favorite npc will always be the magnificent resetti and my least favorite is the skunk D:< I do not like skunks! Especially skunks with shoessss!

That's the option I hit as well and as soon as he shows up he's gone just as fast. And also Resetti is a completely optional NPC in New Leaf so if you don't like him don't get the reset center lol
Can't agree with you on badge guy but I do agree about Harvey!
