So, my island needs a jock and I’m interested in Dom (since I’ve never played with him before), but I haven’t found him on islands and can’t afford him. Who do you all suggest I try to bring on board? Why are they your favorite?

tbh i'm not the biggest fan of dom, he was my starter on my last island and i voided him before finding out he was popular
Mac is pretty great. He's a bulldog and a little chubby (in my eyes) so he makes a hilarious jock. I put a weight bench outside his house & he always falls asleep on it.
My absolute favourite jock would be Roald. His eyes says it all, and I love the stark contrast of his penguin body and talking about having all the muscles. Also honourable mention to Bam, who is also one of my favourites, but I have not owned him at all though.
Mott and Scoot have been long time favourites of mine, scoot if you like colourful fun looking villagers, mott would be good for a more urban themed village
For me it will always be Rod. I have tons of Nostalgia with him and now with the Eye Patch and tons of Clothing, he can be a Rapper or a Pirate.
Otherwise Hamlet, Drift, Ribbot and Poncho. Im a big fan of the smaller Villagers. Bill and Scoot are also pretty cute and Goose looks funny. Bam and Jay are also some of the bigger Jocks I actually quite like. The rest depends. But normally I don’t dislike that many Jocks.
roald and kid cat! roald always makes me laugh without doing anything, and kid cat reminds me of my love for superheroes and power rangers lol. also, i haven't had rudy as a villager yet but i love his design, he has such a sweet friendly face!
honorable mentions: genji and snake! my bf has them on his island and i love seeing them hang out, they're best bros for sure
I love Pierce and Sterling!
I've had Pierce in the last four AC games and have always had a soft spot for him.
Sterling was really sweet too - he was my starter in NH and I was sad to see him go this week!
I like Rudy, Kid Cat, Bam, Ribbot, Sparro and Coach. Bill is cool too.
I just like the design of most of these villagers, Coach grew on me on my island.
I've never had Rudy, but I'm planning on having him on my island and I like cats.
