whoa ok i am guilty of liking the more conventional villagers so i'm not exposed to the houses of many of the other characters and... i have a new, deep appreciation for knox. knox's home is full of caskets. who is. in them. what is going on. why is no one talking abt the fact that his home is full of dead bodies and he is guarding them. i love it

Was initially going to vote for Ankha, but seeing Elvis' house layout made my jaw drop. I know interior design isn't a factor on how rich someone is but it's definitely my bias.
Sorry, Ankha. Elvis has better taste in interior design than you.

I voted Ankha, because of the value of Egyptian antiquities (even though she probably didn't buy it at market value). I also voted Ruby, because she has the bells to afford items from space! She has an entire space shuttle in her house, y'all.

Honestly, I'm going to say that it's probably one of the lazy villagers who is actually the richest whereas these villagers like, rich, but not rich-rich if you know what I mean? If you're uber-rich you don't have to flaunt all that wealth around. Someone like Erik is probably like, mega loaded - he can afford to spend all his time eating, napping, and talking to bugs and he doesn't need his house to be fancy to reflect his wealth!

First Place: Ankha

Ankha is notable for being the only villager to have an illustrious Pyramid in her home. In addition to the furniture, she also has that snake jewelry thing on her head; that can't be cheap. To top it all off, the rest of her home is full gold items.

Second Place: Elvis

Elvis has historically been a very rich villager, even dating back to the early days of Animal Crossing: Wild World when he owned two Thrones, which was the most expensive piece of furniture at the time. In New Horizons, he still sports a very nice collection of gold furniture as well as some Zodiac pieces as well.

Third Place: Julian

When it comes to NMT value, Julian's house is probably the most impressive. He owns all twelve pieces of Zodiac furniture. In addition, he also has 12 Starry Garlands across his wall as well as a Crescent-Moon Chair, so that's another 127 Star Fragments and 1 Large Star Fragment right there.
