who is the most expressive villager on your island

they gave new expressions for all villagers in new horizons, but punchy's was just, for a lack of better word: on crack.

i don't have a video myself uploaded online but this is pretty much all the expressions he would do walking around town. he can be sleepy, smug, derpy, sometimes shady, just generally expressive. i can't believe they manage to make his design even better than it was.

poor coco won't be mentioned on this thread

Definitely Dom, but I love the faces Katt makes too. Agnes could give the biggest side-eye out of all the characters, she was pretty fun to have around.

It might be Tammi, it's one of the things that won me over with her. Lolly is great too. Bluebear just moved in and she seems pretty expressive.

I'm sure there are exceptions, but I've been thinking that it seems like the villagers with the flat/drawn-on mouths are generally more expressive than the villagers with protruding mouths (birds/wolves/etc).

Somehow I've never seen Punchy with his eyes fully open and I feel like I saw something I shouldn't have.

While I don't intend to keep her, Gayle has some fun expressions. I wish I had a picture but she goes completely cross-eyed on a lot of her expressions.

Also of course I have to mention Pietro because his mouth face-paint moves when he frowns or smiles and I love it.​

yeah totally, because that’s basically why punchy & most cat or cub or squirrel villagers be so expressive. also depending on the eyes, if they have detailed eyes + drawn-on mouths then they’d certainly have fun expressions.

id have to say Penelope is the most expressive villager on my island, even though i only really see her display positive emotions. i think that peppy villagers in general are really expressive, but that may be because their emotions are a bit exaggerated in a way.

Judy's expressions are hilarious, especially her shocked face. The rest of my villagers don't have out of the ordinary reaction faces, which is kind of a shame. I love everything about Dom's facial expressions, which is one of the reasons why I'd love to have him.

I’d say Julian. Luckily I didn’t have to pay for him. Someone was giving him away for free and I snatched him up before someone could. I seen him go for a lot of Animal Crossing currency of all kinds though.

I had Dom for a very short while but that would totally be him. That chin is very expressive! Though he looks sad and worried lots of times.

This is a tough question for me. My favorites on my island are Ankha, Octavian, Zucker, Phoebe and Flip. Tough to choose from that bunch!
