awesome-- I' was excited, and then found myself getting back to animal crossing. It is overwhelming but overall a cute and colorful game!

I actually quite enjoy this game. I never played the original Maple Story. The fact this game is free and can run with just an Intel Core i3 (which is sadly what I have) is pretty great. It's still laggy in areas with TONs of players but that's not a huge loss. The gameplay in general runs very smoothly. I think it's really smart they have a store setup for players to put their designs on and people spend RLC to buy those designs. Not really sure about the copyright surrounding that since many of the popular designs are famous outfits of characters from other franchises, but I'm not complaining. I love those types of designs.

just an update from me; i love it to pieces! the style is absolutely adorable and i love playing it with my boyfriend. i've actually never played the original but to be honest i just love any game with character customization. however i usually have to play on my phone hotspot wifi instead of my family one because it always crashes due to lag and disconnections otherwise...

Man this game was the best thing when I first started playing but now it's a nightmare. The constant disconnects have gotten so much worse and have put the game in a pretty broken state. The community has also been ruining the game for me because whenever I try to do a dungeon everyone in the party leaves before it begins. To top it all off, we've got bots left and right either advertising phony Mesos sites and running dungeons/other activities. I normally play on consoles but boy if the PC community is like this for these kinds of games I'm never going to get a gaming PC.

i was gonna check it out, when it was released, but then i saw a post on the steam community hub, that it installs a spyware-like "anti hacking" program, that is impossible to uninstall, even after uninstalling the game and will forever stay "dormant" on your pc, so I said no thanks.

It is pretty fun! Lately, I haven't been able to get into it because I have been playing Animal Crossing Still-- Just started a wolf town

But, there are a lot of things to do. You can level up fast and get new armor and have so much to choose from. You can play with multiple friends to do a dungeon! The quests and cute fighting keeps you busy.

It is not for everyone but it is a cute game overall. It is FREE so keep in mind a lot of people are on the server and sometimes Disconnects can happen.

I only play this game casually and twice a week maybe. It's fun and suuuuper cuter. It is free to play too so it's definitely worth looking into. ​

i joined and the UI is SO BIG AND CLUNKY.
its hideous.
the controls are super wonk . i cant stand them.
and i lagg so much when bossing.
its not completely the worst gave ive ever played but...
...original maplestory is so much better.

For someone who has never played MapleStory before until last month, I've had a lot of fun playing it. I hardly knew anything about it other than it was an MMO and my friend told me to download it. I'm glad I did.

I like the game but not love it. Its not the same as MS1 and I get its not intended to be. There's always a special experience with the type of game MS1 was! (Its just a dead game now). MS2 is nice with the customization and familiar npcs. I feel like some of the lands lack any originality. The Ludibrum town looks nothing like Ludi in MS1, its really bland . Also the main quest line to level is hardly playable with a friend. You mostly get teleported around a lot and do everything solo except for dungeons. The dungeons were infested with bots/gold sellers for the longest time. I know they're working on this but they keep coming back full vengeance. I like the mini games, those are fun. I'm bored of MS2 already though maybe im too used to MS1.
