Who Is/Are Your Snooty and/or Cranky Villager(s) and How Did You Get Them?

Del was my first cranky. I think he was a random move-in? Whitney was a trade and Tiffany (who is no longer here) was a random move-in. Diana was from a Nook Mile Island! I ended up going on more trips to islands today and found quite a few crankies there before inviting Julian to my island.
Cranky is Dobie, I was given his amiibo card by my younger brother, bless him... and snooty is Kitty, she moved into a vacant lot when I ran out of patience after a three day search for Raymond.
I honestly love them both and I like to imagine the two are close friends, because I believe they're both 'older' given that Kitty doesn't act at all like most of the snooty villagers I've interacted with before have, and Dobie doesn't act like cranky villagers because- he's old, and he acts like a senior instead. It makes me really enjoy them, given they have their own personal uniqueness it feels like.

I love Bruce, Octavian, and Blanche! Since I'm looking for Snooty villagers, hopefully I find Blanche. I'm also looking for a villager with a Japanese aesthetic, and I think she would fit the bill. (I need someplace good to put my bamboo and zen garden.)

I've been to at least 25 mystery islands with villagers, and I've never encountered a single cranky villager. I can't tell if I'm extremely unlucky or if the game just doesn't like me.
I just had a spot free up on my island, and after using 5 NMTs and not even finding a single MALE villager, let alone a cranky one, I settled for Amelia. I'd always wanted her in one of my towns anyway, so I'm not too upset.

My cranky is Lobo. I got him from a random island. He doesn't really act like one though? He's a real softie and cares about me

Elvis & Alli. Both were random move-ins who I did not excpect at all. Alli got me confused tho, since I could get her poster from Harv's island the day before she plotted her house. So I kind of knew she was coming even tho it was a random move in. (╯°□°）╯ I'm in confusion!
I love Apollo and Vivian. While I probably won't invite Apollo (if I see him) since I have Cyd, I would love Vivian! Good luck to you!

For cranky, I've got Groucho. Found him on an island and immidiately fell in love. He's a total sweetheart and seems to be the most social of my villagers so far.
As for snooty, I've been island hopping today in hopes of finding a fitting one, but no luck. I eventually settled for Agnes, the uchi pig. Guess I'll try again for a snooty once one of my original five moves out.
