Who has Joan in their town?

I'm having a spot of bad luck today, for some reason Joan hasn't showed up today and I was hoping to get into the stalk market for the first time. I would like to be able to come to someone's town and buy some turnips, in return you'll have katie and I'll throw in a few items as a tip for your time.

Did you update your system? I used to have friends drop by to buy turnips before. After I updated my 3ds, Joan disappeared whenever I open the gate.

Didn't you say you had Katie in your town today? If so, thats the reason for Joan not appearing, Katie has higher priority and will force Joan not to show. This happend to me today, I managed to drop Katie of in my Sister's town at 11.30, and Joan then appeared, in the nick of time!

She was selling them for 110 bells but its past midday and now she's gone. I have brought a lot though, perhaps Patchwork would like to buy some from me, at the same price.
