I love my all bear cub town! Does anyone else have a single species town? What species & villagers do you have?

in NL I had an all dog town (6 lazy villagers: Biskit Bones Walker Marcel Benjamin Lucky lol), but now in NH I just took whoever moved in. I'm not sure if I could deal with 6 lazy villagers talking about bugs.

I have an all dog town in New Leaf! But I have all 8 personalities plus an extra normal & lazy.

I've wanted one for a while but I probably won't do it in NH. I might change up my NL town to make one but I don't know which species. I love some of the cat villagers but the selection feels so limited for some personality types, so I don't really know.
I am working on an all cat town. Actually threw down on some amiibos and in the process of inviting them in.
My island is named Houtong after the cat village in Taiwan. I was supposed to visit there this spring before Covid happened.
I currently have Punchy, Monique, Ankha (all found in mystery island tours), and Moe (someone really sweet from the forums gave me him)
I have the amiibos and am in the process of bringing in Tangy, Kabuki, Katt, Rudy, and Mitzi
I want all the personality types so I have to eventually get Raymond because he’s smug. Hopefully RNG will be on my side lol.

Ah nice! Lazy was always my favourite personality but now not so much. I think also because now I'm older I can't relate with them as much as well.

If there was a peppy deer it would be all deer; as such I’m tempted to keep Audie in (I might go all deer anyways eventually)
In New leaf I had an all Cub town and still have that copy, I loved it v/much. On my second NL copy I am thinking of doing an all pig town. However, with New Horizons I have found far too many villagers that I love, many I never did previously but do now due to their design updates so I probs won't do one for NH. Cubs are by far and away my favourite though, I have a couple on my island.

I don’t but I have mostly cats and plan on getting at least one more as a permanent resident.
I have: Rudy, Punchy, Kiki, Merry, Raymond, Rosie.
I want: Ankha, Marshal (not a cat), Lolly.
8 of my residents are permanent (for now) and i plan on cycling two of my spots to try different villagers and to collect pictures before settling with Ankha and either Marshal or Lolly.
The idea of having an all cat island is and has always been super appealing but, I have some favorites that aren’t cats that I kinda have to have.

I'm probably going to do wolfs or deers. After I got all my current villager's photos
I had that except it was Vivian instead of Wolfgang. It's now turned over to Dobie, Audie and Vivian. The wolves are my favorites, but I have Skye and Freya in my NL town and wanted a change. I can Amiibo them back if I want.

In new leaf I had all wolves but I'm trying to only have one of each species on my island
In NL I had an all bear town (dunno why people dislike them so much, I think they're funny). Since I did that, I've had every bear villager possible...which is why I'm still trying to find Megan on my Nook Mile trips...she's my white (or purple) whale.
