I really love all of the changes they made for the sims 4!
The Sims 3 was just too complex and 4 is just way more interesting with the mood changes. I do kind of wish we had toddlers again! I miss them!

What do you love about the sims 4?

I wish I had it but it's not on Steam and I hate origin. I also hate the price. I've heard bad things about it like not having pools but they might've changed that. I hated toddlers in Sims 3. Glad they're gone it seems. I haven't been following it but I would buy the game for a good price only if Pets DLC is out.

i like ts4 and i think it's really really pretty. that being said though, i've found that even though i adore the graphic style, it causes me to not be able to take it as seriously as ts3. i'm a sim storywriter and i've found it so difficult to try to give my ts4 sims complex emotions like i can so easily with my ts3 sims. probably just a mental perception thing but still. i think in the long term i'll probably end up primarily using ts4 for sim-making and casual play and keep ts3 for my stories.

also i'm one of those people who is upset about not having toddlers.

yeah no i love it too and everyone else is basically butt hurt debbie downers about the entire sims 4 releases. ive loved it and clearly theyre making money from it. idc about toddlers or miss anything about ts3. i do but when i do, i go play ts3 instead of wish for them to recreate the same game they have been forever. thats why i liked sims 4.

I have Sims 4, and I've barely played it. The towns are way too small and limited.

I have a good chunk of the EP for TS3, and I think that's part of why I prefer it. Plus it's so much more in-depth, or at least seems to be, when compared to 4.

i have it and unfortunately I'm not really a fan. I like a lot of things about it (emotions, how pretty and smooth things are, multitasking) but for me, it's just....boring. I understand that S3 has five years worth of content/expansions, but even as a base game it was more enjoyable that S4 is. I'm also a storywriter/generational player and the lack of toddlers makes everything feel even more fake.

also agree 100% with hopeforhyrule, the towns are absolutely tiny. if your family has more than like. three kids you end up filling the entire neighborhood with the same family. :c

Yeah I don't want unnecessary programs on my baby PC and origin is something I don't want ever, so it would be great if they had it on steam...
Also the price should be like $8 or something considering they poop out expansion packs and stuff packs like every other week it seems

I like it would all the downloadable content. It just sucks with how much money it all cost.

At first I didn't like it, because when it first came out it was like $60-70 and you couldn't do a lot of the stuff that you could in The Sims 3. But since then they have come out with more stuff. I can decorate with a ton of stuff. I've made the best houses ever with The Sims 4. And they have the "Go to Work" on that you can actually go to work with them. There is a lot more actions and emotions now. And now with the price drop to purchase the Sims, its worth it if you like to play a fair amount.

The best part for me... I looked and looked and looked and never see a charge show up for it on my credit card. So I think I somehow got it for free. Haha.
