Who else has really lazy villagers?

I just had a ceremony for my streetlight and nobody showed up! It's only 7:30 in the morning! It really made me laugh. It'a the first time absolutely nobody has showed for a ceremony! Anyone else experience this before?

I think I had that with my instrument shelter; it is placed next to a river so villagers couldn't stand on the left side. I think there were no villagers on the right side either, though I might be wrong. I barely hold ceremonies at late/early times though, usually between 9 am and 10 pm, which is when most villagers are awake.

That's because most villagers aren't awake at that time. Only villagers who are awake and outside will attend.

The strangest thing was Nana was outside and I spoke to her right before I held the ceremony! Coco was also awake but she was inside her house.

I had a ceremony in the middle of the day and only one villager showed up... no rain and enough place to stand. Really weird.

I just was told there will be a ceremony to celebrate the police station opening...which I did a few weeks ago. I guess I am the lazy one lol

I had a ceremony with nobody but Coco. She got a letter with a perfect pear from me shortly afterwards... the rest got nothing.

In other instances of laziness, I've caught Freya sleeping on a stump three times now, while my actual lazy villager (Rodeo) I only ever see walking around being busy.
