After three years playing the same town, I just got my golden badge in fish-catching from Phineas, which makes almost all of my badges already gold. So of course there's no way I'm going start anew any time soon...
That's the reason I got a second copy of the game, cause I like getting a fresh start, I love replaying games, But I worked so hard on my first one I could never reset it, plus when I did it in Wild World which was my first Animal Crossing game I still regret resetting it to this very day lol
I could never reset Rosedale- the only reason I'm on my 2nd town now is because my little sister deleted the first one ^^; I've made so much progress that I'd really hate to lose, not to mention all the memories I've made with my villagers...
Nope, I just got my game in October, and I'm about to obtain the T&T Emporium! I don't really feel like playing the waiting game again. I hope everyone who does decide to reset, enjoy themselves. Maybe they'll connect with new villagers
Idk how people just reset their towns willy-nilly. Like you have to go through so much and wait so long (assuming that you don't TT) just to get your town started, let alone make it nice 'n pretty. I would never reset my current town because it's the first Animal Crossing town I've ever had and I'm just too darn proud of it.
Had my town since June 9th, 2013. Have all badges but gold streetpass which I'm hoping to get eventually. I'm always tweaking my town and I'm currently working on collecting all the new Welcome Amiibo items.
Also, I have to keep my town for 8 more years so I can get all the zodiac animals legitimately, or at least 2 more years to get the rest of the birthday stuff (there's 6, right?)
I reset my town only if they're a few days or weeks old and I'm not satisfied with the layout or villagers. Otherwise, I'll most likely to buy another copy of the game if I feel like starting over again and keep the old town. That way it'd be much easier to reacquire everything or just depend on the other town if I need something.
i could never reset my town of zebilage i did too much work plus its the town i loved the most of my 4 towns
i reset lovely just beccause i broke with my ex and dint want to remember nothing about loved
but do miss the villager i had

I semi-recently reset my first NL town, but it was something I've wanted to do for awhile since I had ZERO clue what I was doing with the town map and PWPs locations, so I finally said screw it and got a shiny, new map and everything. Plus I was able to move over all of my villagers, so...No harm, no foul.
But Bunifrey I've had for almost two years now and I will NEVER reset that town. It's my gaming baby, my crowning achievement...And my sole source of sanity some days.
And I actually won't be resetting any of my other towns either. I'm very attached to all of them, and I really can't understand the people who reset the town year after year. But...*shrugs* to each their own, I guess.
I've reset my towns way too much in the past before maybe like 3 times or something and I wasn't happy with them in the end, like I just grew tired of them and was like "ooooh I'm gonna reset, maybe that'll fix everything", well it did and it worked, but I wish I didn't because now I have to work so hard to get back a lot of stuff that I had before. So yeah, long story short, not gonna reset my town anymore.
